“Nobody wants him at Spurs, certainly not Ange Postecoglou” – Emotional Jamie O’Hara tears into Top-class Spurs star, labels him a liability, blasts the key man to leave the club after costing Tottenham 3 solid points

Jamie O’Hara has given his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier after watching him in action against Wolverhampton Wanderers that led to Jim getting benched against Aston Villa at the weekend.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player and talkSPORT pundit was not at all pleased with Dier.

So, what has Jamie O’Hara said about Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier?

Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?
Well, Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

It was Spurs’ second successive loss in the league following their defeat to Chelsea in the London derby on Monday night.

Tottenham took the lead after just three minutes, but the North London club conceded two goals in injury time.

Eric Dier was out of position for the first goal, as Pablo Sarabia got in behind him.

Dier then watched Mario Lemina run past him for the second goal for Wolves.

Former Tottenham player and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara was furious with Dier, and believes that Spurs should have sold him in the summer transfer window.

O’Hara said on talkSPORT (5:35 pm, November 11, 2023): “Eric Dier for me, two mistakes, in no man’s land for both goals.

“I don’t know where he is trying to go.

“He is back at the football club again.

“We should have got rid of him in the summer. No one wanted him, and he ended up back in the team.”

Have some understanding for Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier:

Eric Dier is not one of the best defenders in the Premier League, but he is a good player who has done well for Tottenham Hotspur over the years.

The 29-year-old, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, is very committed on the pitch and always gives his all.

Yes, Dier should have done better for the two goals that Tottenham conceded against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but we must not forget that it was his first start of the season.

The Tottenham no. 15 has made just one start and only one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.

Dier got the chance to play against Wolves due to injury and suspension issues.

Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are the two main centre-backs for Spurs.

While Romero was suspended against Wolves, Van de Ven was injured.
