“There’s a chance he’s leaving White Hart Lane” – Tottenham high wage earner deemed as the Most Likely to LEAVE the club in January after what Ange Postecoglou did to him before the Man City game at the Etihad [Let Him Go]

Tottenham don’t really have much room to manoeuvre in the January transfer window when it comes to selling players.

The last few weeks have shown us just how short the north London club actually are in certain positions, and if anyone else were to leave, Spurs would be seriously lacking.

With injury issues ongoing and the African Cup of Nations on the horizon, Spurs aren’t in a position to let anyone else go.

However, speaking on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel, The Mail’s Josh Hughes has claimed that there’s one Tottenham player who could leave in January – Eric Dier.

Hughes shared what he knows about the £4m man.

“I saw another comment there saying I think Dier will go. Yeah, I think if there is one that is most likely only because I think if there’s a chance to cash in rather than lose him on a free we will do so,” Hughes said.

Makes sense:

As much as Tottenham need as much depth as they can get, if they get the chance to cash-in on Dier they should take it.

The defender is out of contract at the end of the season, and rather than letting him go on a free, if Spurs can get a few million pounds for a fringe player, that would be good business.

Of course, Dier would need replacing if he were to go, but perhaps a recall for either Japhet Tanganga or Joe Rodon from their respective loans could solve these problems.

Dier will be leaving Tottenham one way or another over the next few months, and if Spurs get an offer in January that is worth a bit of cash, they should take it.

Don’t be shocked if Dier is out the door at Tottenham this winter.
