European Giants has asked to sign Top-class Spurs after watching his display against West Ham and Man City as reports reveals Ange Postecoglou’s FINAL DECISION on the prospect of Letting him leave alongside Eric Dier

Sky Sports has revealed that Xavi Hernandez has asked Barcelona to sign Giovani Lo Celso, a request the 43-year-old sees as a test of the Catalan club’s support.

Lo Celso has come to the fore in recent weeks in the absence of Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison, scoring two goals in his last three Premier League appearances.

The 27-year-old has proven his worth to Ange Postecoglou and some reports in recent days suggest that the Australian coach will not consider letting the central midfielder go in January (Dean Jones – GiveMeSport).

Sky Sports is now the latest to report on Barca’s interest in Lo Celso, revealing that Xavi is still keen to bring the player to the Camp Nou.

They explain that the Barça boss was already keen on signing the Spurs star last summer, but after Gavi’s injury, he again told the La Liga club’s management that he needed a player with the profile of the Argentina international.

The publication claims that Xavi’s request is seen as a test of how much support he has from the Blaugrana hierarchy.

I believe that this transfer is not in sight as Barcelona are not in a financial position to pay compensation for Lo Celso in January. They would like to sign the central outfield player on loan and Tottenham have no reason to entertain any offers for the 27-year-old.
