Gary Neville, Sky Sports consultant, has his opinion on Tottenham Hotspur’s centre forward Yves Bissouma after he received a red card against Nottingham Forest last night.
A night game at the City Ground is never easy, but Spurs dominated for most of the game last night. Goals from Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski sealed the win, but Bissouma’s red card spoiled the mood somewhat.
Tottenham have been a joy to watch this season thanks to Ange Postecoglou, but one area where they have been very poor is their discipline.
Spurs have received 46 yellow cards and four red cards so far. Yves Bissouma was sent off last night for the second time this campaign and it was indeed a reckless attack.
The Mali international attacked with visible studs. He caught Ryan Yates high in the knee and definitely deserved a red card.
Gary Neville gave his opinion on Bissouma’s sending off yesterday and he is by no means happy. The Manchester United legend called on Spurs to stop such reckless challenges.

“They have to stop them because they will cause Tottenham costs. Spurs will lose points without these players. If they are injured, you can’t do anything. But if they are constantly reckless and reckless in these challenges, it becomes stupidity, madness.

Tottenham’s Bissouma may not play until February
Yesterday’s red card for Tottenham star Yves Bissouma was his second this season, meaning the Mali international will be suspended for four games.
The 27-year-old will now be unavailable for Spurs’ games against Everton, Brighton and Bournemouth in the Premier League and Burnley in the FA Cup.
