BREAKING – Daniel Levy pushing to seal signing of sensational star next month but there’s ONE problem [Full Story]

Tottenham are pushing to sign Radu Drăgușin from Genoa next month, but the Italian club is trying to “postpone” his departure until the summer.

That’s according to Primo Canale, a local source from Genoa, who reported the possible transfer today as Tottenham continue to be linked with his signature.

Spurs are said to be looking for a new central defender in the January transfer window, as they have already suffered in this area this season.

They seemed set in that position, but Micky van Veen’s long-term injury has shown the lack of depth in Ange Postecoglou’s squad, something they are looking to rectify in January.
That’s why they have been linked with Drăgușină, and Primo Canale is now the latest information on that.

They say Tottenham’s “pressure” for a defender must be taken into account, but Genoa would like to “postpone” any negotiations until June so as not to “dangerously weaken” in a key part of the squad while it fights relegation.

Tottenham, however, does not agree and is pushing to have the player in their squad in January.

They seem more than willing to pay the sum demanded, which for now is around €30 million, but could be much higher if Genoa continue to refuse the deal and need further persuasion.
