Ange Postecoglou could rattle Roberto De Zerbi as Spurs Boss drops 23-year old star, starts £15m rated superstar in early expected XI Vs Brighton – What do you think?

Tottenham Hotspur have a tough away game at Brighton on Thursday and Ange Postecoglou will have to make some key decisions regarding the starting line-up.

Spurs narrowly beat Everton 2-1 on Saturday with goals from Richarlison and Heung-Min Son.

Tottenham didn’t care, however, as Everton were unlucky not to take at least a point from the game.

Postecoglou was forced to make a substitution at half-time as the injured Cristian Romero was replaced by Eric Dier.

Oliver Skipp also made his first Premier League start since the opening day match against Brentford.

The 23-year-old did quite well on the day, providing a lot of energy in the middle of the park. In our opinion, however, Ange Postecoglou might opt for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the No.6 role on Thursday night.

Tottenham XI vs Brighton
Postecoglou could be forced to make a change at the back after admitting that Romero felt “tension” in his thigh during the win over Everton.

But the Aussie boss will welcome Destiny Udogie after the youngster missed Saturday’s clash through suspension.

That would allow Postecoglou to move Emerson Roal to centre-back alongside Ben Davies, with Pedro Porro and Udogie playing in full attack.

Spurs failed to completely dominate Saturday’s game against Everton, with Postecoglou opting for a midfield trio of Pape Matar Sarr, Dejan Kulusevski and Skipp.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg came off the bench in the second half but had little time to influence the game after Sarr was substituted.

Although Postecoglou opted for Skipp instead of the £15 million North London player, he may favour Hojbjerg in a tough away game at the Amex Stadium.

Spurs will be able to afford an unchanged front three as Heung-Min Son, Richarlison and Brennan Johnson have started the last three games.
