Most sensible pundit predicts Brighton Vs Tottenham scoreline, mentions HOW MANY GOALS Spurs will score at the Amex – Says Lilywhites remain in Title race because…

Chris Sutton said that Tottenham Hotspur must not get out of the Premier League title race and backed the Lilywhites to beat Brighton on Thursday.

Spurs had an extremely poor season in November and earlier this month, taking just one point from five Premier League games.

However, that streak is well in the past for Angelo Postecoglou’s team, who have managed to win their last three games in a row and are just four points behind the league leaders in Week 19.

Tottenham now face a tough away game at the Amex Stadium against a Seagulls side that has had some bad results recently and would like to bounce back in front of their fans.

Sutton believes that Robert De Zerbi’s charges will press Spurs to the end but backed the North London club to beat their opponents.

Are Tottenham still in the title race?
The former Celtic striker told BBC Sport of Thursday’s clash: “My first thought here is that we will score some goals. Tottenham are still in the title race, but they were a bit lucky to hold on and beat Everton, and you don’t know what’s going to happen with Brighton at the moment – good or bad.

“The Seagulls have lost some of the sparkle they had last season but they have only lost once at home in the Premier League and I can see the Spurs pushing all the way.”

Prediction: 2:3.

The media might start talking about a possible Tottenham again if we beat Brighton, but I certainly don’t see Spurs fans getting carried away and dreaming of taking on Man City and Arsenal.

Our challenge is to stay within touching distance of the top four until February so that we can really compete when Maddison, Bentancur, Van de Ven, Son, Sarr and Bissouma return.
