Said Benrahma is ready to leave West Ham in the upcoming January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The 28-year-old is ready to leave the Hammers next month in a bid to play regular first-team football after being relegated to the lower ranks of the competition at the London Stadium.
Several French clubs have expressed interest in Benrahma, as well as several teams in the Saudi professional league.
As revealed by Football Insider on Friday (29 December), Benrahma is expected to leave West Ham in January for the arrival of Mohamed Kudus.
West Ham are open to offers for the winger in order to raise funds for their transfer budget.
Kudus has done well in London after his summer transfer from Dutch side Ajax, which cost £38 million.
The Ghanaian international has scored 13 goals and two assists in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Irons.
With Jarrod Bowen also on form with 13 goals this season and Lucas Paqueta adapting to a wide role, Benrahma has lost his place in West Ham’s starting line-up.
As a result, the Algerian has played just 542 minutes in the Premier League in 2023/24 and has not scored in all competitions this season.
Although Benrahma was a key member of David Moyes’ squad in 2022/23 with 12 goals in 52 appearances, he quickly fell out of favour with the Kladivars.
