Jealous and Bitter Jamie Carragher afraid of Big Ange winning the League drags European Giants online for agreeing to SELL their Best player to Spurs as club now RELUCTANT to make deal happen

Jamie Carragher is surprised by reports that Chelsea are ready to sell Conor Gallagher to Tottenham Hotspur.

Over the past few weeks, Spurs Web has relayed a slew of reports suggesting that Chelsea have put Gallagher up for sale and that the Lilywhites are ready to buy the 23-year-old, having failed in their transfer bid last summer (talkSPORT).

The speculation has intensified in recent days, with Gianluca Di Marzio claiming at the weekend that the two London clubs had begun talks over the England international and that a deal of around £40m could be reached.

Carragher is distracted by rumours of Gallagher’s transfer to Spurs:

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has urged Chelsea management not to sell Gallagher (Amazon Prime Sport – 19:08, 27 December).

The Dutchman stressed that the centre-forward is not only a key player for Mauricio Pochettino, but also contributes a lot from a managerial point of view.

Carragher has now become the latest pundit to question the logic of selling Gallagher, branding the idea an example of incompetence from the Blues’ owners.

We hope that the Chelsea board will not change its position on Gallagher because of all the negative reactions from fans and insiders. Tottenham might have to conclude a deal as soon as possible, because it might happen that they will not have any more chances to sign the 23-year-old.
