Expert Janusz Michallik tells us whether he thinks Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal have the better team if everyone is healthy and available.
Arsenal and Tottenham are currently separated by just one point in the Premier League standings. In the opening weeks of the campaign, Ange Postecoglou’s men have led the way, playing exciting football.
But Spurs then suffered some significant injuries, with James Maddison and Micky van de Ven out for the rest of the year after a dramatic defeat against Chelsea in early November.
Janusz Michallik thinks Tottenham are now better than Arsenal:
Then Arsenal seemed to take the reins into their own hands. On Christmas Day, Mikel Arteta’s men were top of the table. But the Gunners have now lost their last two games.
Janusz Michallik, speaking to ESPN, expressed his belief that Postecoglou’s men actually have more potential.
“I think that if they have everything at their disposal, they are better than, say, Arsenal. They are. They are deeper. They are better. They have game-changing players all over the pitch,” he said.

Obviously there will be many Arsenal fans who disagree with Michallik’s opinion. Last season, the Gunners came very close to winning the Premier League title. Even in this campaign, they have been within touching distance most of the time without being at their best.
