Ange Postecoglou has already had to deal with a lot of problems and the upcoming international tournaments in Asia and Africa will not make his life any easier as he will be without players.
Nevertheless, Spurs fans strongly believe that big Ange is the man to bring silverware back to N17 and the importance of the FA Cup should not be diminished. Although Spurs are certainly not out of contention for the Premier League title, this competition is surely their best chance to win a silver medal this term.
Vincent Kompany’s Burnley have shown signs of life in recent weeks after a defeated start to the 2023/24 season, but the Clarets seem destined for relegation. The Belgian will also be keen to control a promising cup competition.

Spurs will be without Papa Matar Sarr and Son Heung-Min for the next few weeks as their help is needed on international duty.
Also suspended Yves Bissouma is with Mali at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Dejan Kulusevski will return from suspension on Friday and Postecoglou is expected to name a strong starting eleven for the cup game. However, he will still be unable to call up Cristian Romero, James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon.
