BAD NEWS – Harry Kane on the brink of spoiling Tottenham’s target since December as Bayern Munich closer to beating Spurs to the signature of the Top-class star

Bayern Munich are on the verge of acquiring Tottenham Hotspur target Radu Dragusin after agreeing a deal with Genoa, which will also have consequences for Eric Dier.

The Bavarians were late to join the chase for the Romanian international, just as Tottenham had knocked out Napoli and seemed ready to acquire the defender.

Barring an unexpected turn of events, Dragusin will leave for Bayern Munich, which will also have an impact on the Tottenham player.

Bayern Munich have agreed a €24 million plus €6 million bonus for Dragusin, according to Italian portal Tutto Mercato.

The bonuses are linked to Dragusin’s performances for Bayern Munich and the club’s participation in the Champions League, which means that Genoa is confident of receiving them.

Dragusin has also signed a personal deal with Bayern Munich, according to which he will earn around €2 million per year.

This development also means that Bayern Munich are unlikely to sign Dier from Tottenham.

Dier was supposed to transfer to the Allianz Arena, but Bayern Munich turned to Dragusin.

Spurs defender Eric Dier is hoping to complete his transfer to Bayern after agreeing personal terms for a move to Germany.

But Dier is one of the few options Bayern have to strengthen its defence, and a transfer for Dragusin could prevent his deal, as well as Tottenham’s transfer for Dragusin.

Spurs want to sign a new central defender before Sunday’s game against Manchester United.

Dragusin, who will be available for the away game at Old Trafford, would be a boost for head coach Angelo Postecoglou, as Cristian Romero and Ben Davies, who deputises in the centre of defence, are largely doubtful for this game due to hamstring injuries.

Tottenham now look set to miss out on Romero unless there are further twists and turns in the transfer saga.
