Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Tottenham have reached an agreement with Genoa this morning to sign Radu Dragusin.
Spurs have been trying to sign the Romanian international for more than a week, but it has not been easy. However, it now looks like the deal is done and he will be on his way to Tottenham soon.

Tottenham’s priority in this window was always the signing of a new central defender.
Apart from Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, Spurs don’t have a player in central defence that Ange Postecoglou trusts. Emerson Royal and Ben Davies have done well, but they don’t feel quite comfortable in that position.
A new central defence has always been a priority and last week we learned that Radu Dragusin is at the top of Tottenham’s wish list. Genoa even rejected a bid for the Romanian international.
However, after further negotiations, Tottenham have now agreed a deal for £21.5 million, according to Plettenberg.
A Sky Sports reporter tweeted: “No news #Dragusin: Tottenham and Genoa have reached a full agreement on a winter transfer this morning! #THFC
“Transfer sum: €25m (£21.5m) + add-ons. Contract until 2029.
“If Bayern want to have another chance, they must respond today. There is still no official offer from Bayern.”

The North Londoners are on the verge of signing Timo Werner as a loan player from RB Leipzig, which is exciting in itself as he would fit perfectly into Postecoglou’s system.
Spurs now seem to have solved their most important requirement – a new central defender. Radu Dragusin is a fantastic talent and now seems to be on his way to North London.
This is great news and Tottenham fans have every reason to rejoice ahead of the second half of the season.
