TEAMtalk can exclusively confirm that Eric Dier will be sold to Bayern Munich when Radu Dragusin completes his transfer to Tottenham.
Dragusin is on his way to London to complete the transfer after Spurs agreed to pay Genoa £21.5 million plus £4.3 million in add-ons for the Romanian central defender.
This comes after Bayern made a last-minute attempt to snatch Tottenham’s deal for Dragusin, so they are looking elsewhere for reinforcements in defence.
Now TEAMtalk can reveal that Tottenham will accept the Bundesliga giants’ offer for Dier as they look to offload the England international.
Dier has played just 198 minutes in the Premier League this season and it’s clear that he’s not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
According to our information, the transfer to Bayern could happen for less than €10 million (£8.6 million) as the defender is out of contract at the end of the season.
Eric Dier has agreed personal terms with Bayern:
Eric Dier has already agreed personal terms with Bayern, so all indications are that the transfer will be completed in the near future.
Former Spurs talisman Harry Kane played a key role in luring Dier to Munich, as he has been in constant contact with his former teammate about the transfer.
Now it looks like the English duo will meet again at Bayern as the German giants look to secure a 12th consecutive Bundesliga title this season.
Thomas Tuchel’s charges are currently four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen and have a game in hand over their rivals.
Tuchel hopes that Dier will help his team to reduce that deficit in the second half of the campaign.
Dier transferred to Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon in 2014. He has made 364 appearances for the north London club, scoring 13 goals.
