“I changed my mind because…” – Eric Dier reveals WHY he Joined Bayern Munich, tells Tottenham teammates and fans WHAT Harry Kane told him that changed his mind to dumb Spurs for the Farmers League

Do you think Harry Kane should get the transfer prize after Bayern Munich recalled his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Eric Dier?

Maybe not (Bayern Munich’s politics be damned), but the English defender is excited about the prospect of playing for a club like Der Rekordmeister. Dier intends to get involved immediately and learn German to speed up the process of integrating into the culture and the dressing room.

“I’m definitely going to learn German. It’s important for me to learn the language somewhere as soon as possible out of respect,” said Dier (filmed by @iMiaSanMia). “My goals are aligned with the team. I think our goals are the same. I came here to win titles. My goals are to help the team to be as successful as possible.”

As for where he’ll live now that the transfer is official, Dier said Kane did offer him a place to stay, but the defender doesn’t want to contribute to the craziness of Kane’s whereabouts. Kane’s family also now live in Germany, which is an added element to the mix for the England captain.

“He invited me over and at some point I’ll be going around. But he has quite a few kids over there. There’s a lot going on. He doesn’t need me to move as well and create more work for myself,” Dier said with a laugh. “Harry is my friend, we talked a lot when he came here and he made me follow the games and the Bundesliga closely. When I realised there was an opportunity for me, I naturally followed it.”
