ROY KEANE brings Tottenham back to earth with a characteristically brutal speech.

He claimed that even the bus driver had been praised this season.

The 52-year-old Keane led a super Sunday on Sky Sports yesterday, which included Spurs’ 2-2 away draw at Manchester United.

Tottenham came back from behind twice thanks to goals from Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur against a struggling Erik ten Hag team.

Bentancur scored within seconds of the restart after half-time, meaning United’s new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe missed it.

Spurs had more shots, dominated possession and were generally the better team in the Premier League clash.

But they failed to score the winning goal at Old Trafford.

The former Red Devils captain was in no mood to get involved in Ange Postecoglou’s love affair.

Keane was blunt: “Spurs are having a very good season. ‘Spurs were this, Spurs were that…’ They tied the game.

‘They didn’t come and win at Old Trafford. It was a draw.”

Jamie Redknapp joked that Tottenham are missing a number of players.

But Keane hit back: “Man United are missing a few players.

“It’s amazing that when we do a televised game, we end up talking for an hour about players who weren’t here.

“It’s about players who were on the pitch.

“If you want to be a big club, you have to deal with setbacks.”

Keane, who had earlier lambasted Andre Onana for his involvement in Richarlison’s goal, continued: “Tottenham were the better team, yes.

“But we can’t sit here and exaggerate Spurs and say Spurs are outstanding.

“We heard from the manager, obviously he will praise his players.

“The staff got the praise, the coaches got the praise, the bus driver got the praise, everybody got the praise.

“Listen, that was against a bad Man United team who are in a difficult place. The score was 2-2. Everybody relaxed.”

And the brilliant rant went down a storm with some rival fans of Tottenham.

One Arsenal supporter said: “Thank God for Roy Keane.

“The only piece of REALITY that lives on that channel. “Redknapp, the a-kisser extraordinaire firmly told to calm the f down.”

Another quipped: “I put it on at half-time on @5liveSport. It was incredible. Spurs were basically Real Madrid. Imagine how shocked I was to find out at that point that Utd were actually in the lead.”

A third added: “He’s actually so bang on calm down everyone. Spurs dominated the ball yesterday but created very very little! Utd were there for the taking spurs didn’t do enough and were very very lucky not to get beat with the chance at the end!”

A fourth joked: “Everyone is talking about Tottenham missing players but look at the amount of trophies they are missing.”
