BREAKING – Premier League giants sells £60m striker with more goals than All Arsenal attackers to Tottenham for Bargain fee according to club chief

Everton reportedly thought they could sell Richarlison to Tottenham for £20 million more than the Brazilian international’s actual price.

The Toffees are once again in trouble with the Premier League, having been accused, along with Nottingham Forest, of another breach of the league’s rules on profitability and sustainability.

Everton has already been hit by 10 points this season for the previous breach and is now looking at all possible legal actions that could save it from its current crisis.

According to the Evening Standard, the Premier League side at Goodison Park have reportedly arrogantly claimed that they could sell Richarlison to Tottenham for £20 million more.

The 26-year-old striker joined the North London team in 2022 for £60 million, the second biggest transfer in Tottenham’s history.

For Everton, however, the mere claim that they could get more from Spurs for Richarlison is unlikely to go down well in the Premier League, as £60 million is quite a high sum for a Brazilian striker.

Everton’s claim about Richarlison has no foundation:

While Robbie Mustoe has praised Richarlison as “unbelievable” this season, it is difficult to justify that Tottenham’s move for the £60m striker was financially justified.

The former Watford star has been inconsistent for the north Londoner and Everton’s claim that they could sell Richarlison for £80m is actually fanciful.

Although the striker could ever be worth that kind of fee, it is hard to see Everton’s side in this argument as the Toffees are likely to be rebuffed on this particular demand.
