OFFICIAL – “He’s Very Offensive, Good Crosser” – Fabrizio posts the TWO transfer deals Tottenham have sealed TODAY as players expected to join Ange Postecoglou’s team in June as part of the club’s future rebuild

Brentford head coach Thomas Frank says Sergio Reguilon is a “perfect fit” for the club after the Spaniard signed on loan from Tottenham.

The Bees have been without starting left-back Rico Henry since September due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury and have replaced him with the six-time national team international until the end of the season.

Frank said. We have been talking for some time about the need for a good left-back and we have managed to get a very good left-back.

“I am very happy with the work that Phil Giles and Lee Dykes have done.

“Sergio is a great fit for us – he is a proven Premier League player in every way. He fits what we want.

“He’s very offensive, has a very good offence and a very good left foot.

The 27-year-old Reguilon spent the first half of the season on loan at Manchester United, where he racked up 12 appearances before his stay was terminated.

He will now focus on the bottom of the Premier League table, where his new team are two places and three points above the relegation zone.

Spurs defender Japhet Tanganga has joined Millwall on loan after returning from Augsburg, while 19-year-old centre-forward Alfie Devine has joined Plymouth until the end of the season.

He was previously on loan at Port Vale, who now want Dan Gore from Manchester United. The 19-year-old is with the United staff on training in Dubai. Granada is confident of being able to sign United winger Facundo Pellistri.

The 24-year-old Tanganga joined Augsburg as a loan player at the start of the season but was recalled by Ange Postecoglou’s men this week.

The centre-back missed the first seven games of the Bundesliga season after arriving at the German club with a knee injury.

After recovering from the injury, Tanganga did not make a single appearance for the club.

The 24-year-old has already signed a five-year contract extension to stay with Spurs in 2020, with his contract due to expire at the end of next season.

The Tottenham academy graduate broke into the first team in the 2019-2020 season but has struggled to secure a starting place in Spurs’ back row in recent years.

He moved to Augsburg in September after making seven appearances for the club in the 2022-23 campaign, but will now spend the rest of the season in the Championship with Millwall.
