BREAKING – “He’ll NOT be offered a new deal” – Next Top-class player to LEAVE Tottenham Named after Ange Postecoglou tells player to find a new club as his contract expires in 2025

According to Tottenham News, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will not be offered a new contract in North London.

The Danish international has been relegated since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur.

After being a mainstay in Spurs’ starting line-up for the last few years, the central midfielder has started just five Premier League games in that period.

As a result, a source close to Spurs has revealed to Tottenham News that the 28-year-old will move on from the club in the summer if he does not leave this month.

Hojbjerg has 18 months left on his Tottenham contract and Tottenham News has learned that the club will not offer him a new deal.

The player himself is keen to leave in search of more regular first-team football.

Sky Sports News recently reported online in its Transfer Centre Live (16 January, 17:48) that Hojbjerg’s situation at the club will come down to the final days of the transfer deadline, with Spurs unwilling to accept a cut-price deal for the former Southampton player, who has also attracted interest from Serie A.

Tottenham News was told that the club is still in a decent position regarding Hojbjerg, as the player should still be worth a lot of money in the summer if they do not find a solution for him this month.

Spurs signed Hojbjerg from Southampton three-and-a-half years ago in a deal worth £15m (Sky Sports News, 12 August 2020).

In his debut season at the club, Hojbjerg started all 38 Premier League games and made 167 appearances for Tottenham, scoring 10 goals and 16 assists.

In other Tottenham news, the club appears to be moving in the right direction following a recent announcement.
