Man Utd star with ZERO Football Knowledge tears into Tottenham star, names Ange Postecoglou’s signing that is OVERRATED despite being better than Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Hojlund combined [It’s NOT Gary Neville]

Roy Keane said although James Maddison is a good player, but many people still overrate him.

Maddison has been one of the few bright lights in a poor Leicester City team at the King Power Stadium over the past two seasons and Tottenham bought the 27-year-old last summer after the Foxes were relegated.

While the signing was seen as a decent turnaround for Spurs, the attacking midfielder has far exceeded expectations by starting his career in north London, having arguably been the best player in the Premier League in the first few months of the season until his injury.

The England international seems to have taken his game to the next level, surrounded by better players and playing in a system that seems to suit him to a tee.

Tottenham fans are now waiting with bated breath for Maddison to return to the pitch, as he is reportedly fit to play in the FA Cup fourth round match against Manchester City (The Telegraph).

Roy Keane thinks James Maddison is overrated:

However, Keane is not convinced that the return of the Spurs vice-captain would be as big as some think.

The Man Utd legend spoke about Maddison to the Stick to Football podcast: “I think he’s a good player. He’s not as good as everyone makes out. I like him, I think he’s a good player, but I don’t think he’s like De Bruyne who came back for them.”

It can be argued that Maddison is as important to Spurs as De Bruyne is to Man City, as the 27-year-old can split defences in a way that no other player in Tottenham’s squad can, thanks to his technical quality and vision.
