Tottenham Hotspur are pushing for more new signings before the deadline in just over a week’s time and are looking to get Antonio Nusa through the door.

Nusa has emerged as a target for Tottenham in the last week or so. Chelsea are also keen on the forward, who has emerged as one of the stars of the Jupiler Pro League.

Recent reports have suggested Tottenham are the team in pole position for Nusa though and according to another update today, they are indeed still pushing.

Tottenham in discussions to sign Antonio Nusa:

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham’s transfer plans for the month are not completely over with and they are in talks over a deal to sign Nusa.

The teenager would likely remain with Club Brugge for now if any deal is done but Tottenham are keen to wrap things up if they can for Nusa.

Capable of playing down either wing or down the middle if needed, Nusa has already made an impression at international level with Norway as well. Indeed, Nusa has caught the eye of Martin Odegaard as well, who has lauded the youngster’s potential.

“Fantastic! He is an incredibly exciting player. You see it every time he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. It was cool to see him. He deserved to get the chance that he takes to such an extent. Incredibly cool,” Odegaard has said about the teen.

Tottenham, then, could be close to landing quite the player.

An exciting finish to January
If Tottenham do go ahead and get a deal done for Antonio Nusa, then it will cap off a very good window for them.

The signings of Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin have been good additions and the signing of Nusa will excite Spurs fans.

Likewise, they continue to look at new midfielders as well and Conor Gallagher remains a possibility.

Tottenham, then, look like they are really building something under Ange Postecoglou.
