Daniel Levy has ‘held talks’ with €60m rated star’s agent ahead of potential move, player is interested in playing for Big Ange – could be ‘biggest signing in Spurs history’

Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in signing Nice defender Jean-Clair Todiba, despite securing the services of Radu Dragusin earlier this month.

Spurs remain interested in Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todiba and have held “talks” with the player’s entourage, according to Telefoot, as personal terms on move to White Hart Lane is NOT a problem for the Lilywhites.

The report states that the Lilywhites are not the only club talking to the player’s representatives. Chelsea and Napoli are also among the clubs reportedly in talks.

It adds that the French club is by no means interested in selling him this month, but if he continues his good performances, he could “become the biggest sale” in Nice’s history.

Todibo is known for his defensive skills and has become one of the best defenders in European football, putting in outstanding performances for OGC Nice.

Nice reportedly want €60 million for Todibo, which means that any English club wanting him would have to invest a lot of money.

Todibo undoubtedly has the qualities to prove himself in the Premier League, which could justify a long-term investment.

However, it will be interesting to see whether Spurs will pay a lot of money to sign a highly rated defender, given that they have just spent almost €30 million on Radu Dragusin.
