EXCLUSIVE – Spurs fans and Ange Postecoglou are HAPPY as Tottenham transfer that could be completed before Deadline Day REVEALED after losing Antonio Nusa

It’s an important week at Tottenham Hotspur as the January transfer window closes and Ange Postecoglou’s team has two games on the schedule. After a miserable FA Cup defeat to Man City on Friday night, Tottenham have the chance to get straight back into the game when they welcome Brentford to their home ground.

The Lilywhites will then be in action three days later when they head north to take on Everton at Goodison Park. These two games will take place either side of the January transfer window, which closes at 11pm on Thursday 1 February.

Tottenham have already made their mark on the winter market with two players, but fans are hoping for at least one more new arrival before the transfer window closes. One of the players who will not be joining Spurs is Norwegian ace Antonio Nusa.

The highly-rated youngster will indeed move to the Premier League, but will play for Brentford for the next few years. Nusa and his camp have their reasons for choosing Brentford over Spurs, and our Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discuss the decision in the latest episode of the Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast.

As well as Nusa’s move to West London, there is also a lot of talk about the remainder of the January transfer window and whether Spurs will be able to complete another deal. In addition to club transfers in the next few days, there is also talk of things on the pitch after the 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Man City and the upcoming clash with Brentford.

Postecoglou has some important decisions to make regarding the team selection for the match with the Bees, including the possible inclusion of January signing Radu Dragusin. Will the Romanian international make his Tottenham debut in midweek against Brentford?
