Gary Neville tells Ange Postecoglou the Big Problem Tottenham have in front of them that’ll stop the club from winning the League or making Top 4 after defeat to Wolves

Manchester United won at Luton today and Gary Neville thinks Tottenham and Aston Villa are now under pressure.

With the win, United moved three points closer to fifth-placed Spurs and five points closer to fourth-placed Villa. Erik ten Hag’s charges have made the play-offs for the first time this season and are now top.

Of course, there are still 13 games left of the season and United, Villa and Tottenham have a long way to go.

However, speaking to Sky Sports after today’s game, Neville suggested that both Villa and Tottenham will now feel that United are behind them and with that will come pressure.

“You can sense that Ten Hag is more confident in his team – I think he’ll fancy chasing Tottenham and Villa for a top four finish. They will feel the pressure. I’m not saying Man Utd will get there, but there’s something between their teeth,” said Neville.

The Red Devils host Fulham next weekend in a winnable game, before taking on Nottingham Forest and then Manchester City in the cup.

Manchester United is in a game with Tottenham and Villa:

For Tottenham, Villa and United, the race for the top four is not over yet. Not even close.

In fact, it could be one of the most exciting competitions in recent years and with potentially five places up for grabs, it’s going to be a really exciting finish.

Neville is right when he says that the pressure on Villa and Spursa will only now start to intensify.

It’s never easy having a giant like Man United behind you and it will be interesting to see who will cope best with that pressure in the coming months.

For Manchester United, the last few weeks have been something of a turning point for the club.

Tottenham and Villa, on the other hand, are struggling for consistency and could do with some big success of their own.
