Tottenham will not accept any bid for captain Heung-Min Son even though his contract is uncertain, sources have told Football Insider.
The 31-year-old was widely linked with Saudi Pro League clubs ahead of the summer transfer deadline.
Son is under contract in north London until June 2025, having signed his last extension in July 2021.
However, a senior source told Football Insider that Spurs will try to sit down formally in the summer to discuss a new contract for the South Korean international.
Informal talks are already said to be underway to gauge his interest in extending his contract with the Lilywhites.

Son became Tottenham’s top scorer after Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich last summer (2023).
In the 2023-24 campaign, he scored 12 goals and six assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
The striker, who will turn 32 in July, has been wearing the captain’s armband since the start of this term.
Son joined Tottenham in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen and has scored 157 goals in 395 games for the club.
He is the third goal scorer in the club’s history, behind Harry Kane and Jimmy Greaves.
The 6’2″ player also scored 44 goals in 122 appearances for South Korea.
Tottenham and Son are fifth in the Premier League standings under manager Ange Postecoglou, five points ahead of fourth-placed Aston Villa.
