Rumours about Justin Fields continue to follow the Pittsburgh Steelers:
At least that’s what it seems like from the outside), but Pittsburgh hasn’t made any significant moves in that area (at least that’s what it seems like from the outside).
On Thursday, Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan was cornered by reporters at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, including The Athletic’s Mark Kaboly, who asked the team’s CEO what the real outcome is so far between Fields and the Steelers.
“I’m not going to go into the details of the conversations we’ve had, but as I mentioned, I can tell you that I’m obligated to look at all the options that are available to make us a better football team,” Khan replied.
Khan replied that journalists and fans would not have much to chew on. So was his answer when Kaboly asked him about Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins.
“I’m not going to go into detail,” he said simply.
The picture regarding the Steelers’ alleged pursuit of another quarterback will soon be clearer. As the 2024 NFL Draft draws ever closer, the Pittsburgh Steelers could provide more clarity in the coming days or weeks regarding their mission to shore up the QB spot.
