New predicted final PL table as Sheffield United, Everton and Forest given intriguing updates amid Toffees second potential points deduction

Everton could be docked points for a second time for breaching Premier League rules on profit and sustainability.

The Athletic reports that Everton and Nottingham Forest expect to be referred to an independent panel for breaches of the league’s profit and sustainability rules and are likely to be informed of any formal action on Monday.

Everton have been docked 10 points this season and could face a second suspension or a fine, while Nottingham Forest also face a points deduction.

Clubs can forfeit a maximum of £105 million ($134 million) or £35 million ($44 million) over three years. Everton and Forest are expected to fight the possible sanctions.
