BREAKING – Financial Expert tells Everton fans when the Premier League will give the greenlight for the 777 Partners to complete the takeover of the club

Dan Plumley has claimed that 777 Partners still has a long way to go before the Premier League approves the proposed takeover of Everton.

Following the news that Josh Wander will meet with the Premier League this week to discuss the takeover, 777 is unhappy with how long the process has taken.

The football finance expert admitted that it is not surprising that the matter could drag on, as there are still many points of contention in the information.

“Unfortunately I think so,” he told Goodison News exclusively when asked if the meeting was an indication of how many things still need to be sorted out.

“Again, it’s no surprise, from what we’ve seen, from the outside looking in, this was always going to be a complicated deal with a lot of twists and turns.

“777 is dealing with so many partners and related parties that it took so much information to get this takeover sorted out, and the availability of that information may not have been available, which is what the Premier League was talking about.

“It’s not surprising that this is breaking down, I still think there’s some way to go, I know it brings uncertainty but I don’t think it’s any closer to crossing the line and there’s still some points of contention with some of that information.”

Will 777 Partners complete the acquisition of Everton?
With the constant negative news about the US investment firm, including the billions of dollars they owed to US creditors before bidding for the club, it is hard to imagine.

Hopefully talks with the Premier League will clear the air and open the door between the duo, but for now everyone else seems to be left in the dark as there are still a few weeks to go.
