“No way he will..” – West Ham fans issues Bizzare Lucas Paqueta future update at the London Stadium amid claims he could leave the club in big money move like Declan Rice

Former West Ham and Celtic striker Frank McAvennie expressed his belief that Lucas Paqueta could be tempted to leave West Ham United if a prestigious club like Manchester City, Real Madrid, or Juventus comes calling.

McAvennie emphasized that if such a substantial offer were to materialize, Paqueta would likely opt to depart from the Hammers, despite appearing content at the London club. He noted Paqueta’s apparent enjoyment of his time at West Ham but suggested that the allure of joining a bigger club could sway his decision.

McAvennie’s comments reflect the ongoing speculation surrounding Paqueta’s future, with reports indicating interest from top clubs like Manchester City.

“If he’s not happy then he’s not showing it,” he told Football Insider.

“He looks like he’s really enjoying himself at West Ham.

“If an offer comes in from a bigger club, like Man City, Real Madrid or Juventus, they’re going to get him.

“His head will be turned because there’s no way he will refuse a big offer from a club like that.

“But I look at him and he’s enjoying himself.

“I don’t think Paqueta would be too hurried to move.

“But if a good offer does come in, Mr Sullivan will tell him that he’s off!”

It’s suggested that Pep Guardiola’s side has already shown interest in the midfielder, with discussions potentially underway for a future transfer.

Paqueta’s impressive performances for West Ham have undoubtedly caught the attention of fans and pundits alike, fueling speculation of a lucrative move in the offing.

While acknowledging Paqueta’s satisfaction at West Ham, McAvennie pointed out that the allure of joining a powerhouse like Manchester City or Real Madrid could be too tempting to resist.

He speculated that the opportunity to compete at the highest level and challenge for major trophies might ultimately persuade Paqueta to seek a move away from the London Stadium.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, McAvennie observed that Paqueta appears to be enjoying his football at West Ham.

However, he cautioned that a substantial offer from a top club could swiftly change the situation, with West Ham chairman David Sullivan likely to facilitate a transfer if the terms are favorable.

McAvennie’s insights highlight the complex dynamics at play in modern football, where players’ loyalty can be tested by the prospect of joining elite clubs and competing on the grandest stages.
