‘He’s NOT Good Enough, Sell him in the Summer’ – Daniel Farke told the ONE Leeds United player that he should brutally force out of Elland Road

Paul Robinson anticipates that Daniel Farke will advocate for Rasmus Kristensen’s permanent departure from Leeds United in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Kristensen struggled during Leeds’ previous season, which ended in relegation from the Premier League, and has spent this campaign on loan at Roma.

Despite suggestions that Leeds might recall the defender if they secure promotion to the top flight, Robinson contends that last season demonstrated Kristensen’s inadequacy for the club, even if they require cover in his position.

“Daniel Farke will want to do his own thing with his own players,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News. “There’s a reason some players are not at Leeds this season and that’s because they weren’t good enough in the Premier League.”

“My argument would be, why would you incorporate players who weren’t good enough in the Premier League last season back into your squad?”

“Full-back is a position Leeds will look at, but he’s not one who would walk into the squad, so Farke should be allowed to do what he wants.”

“Farke has earned the right to do what he wants with the squad. Yes, you inherit a squad, but these players were not good enough last season.”

As for Kristensen’s preferred position, he has showcased versatility by playing in five different roles during his time with Roma this season. According to WhoScored, he has primarily featured as a right wing-back in 13 matches at Stadio Olimpico.

Additionally, Kristensen has made six appearances as a traditional right-back, twice as a center-back, and once as a left-back.

While Kristensen’s ability to adapt to various positions could be advantageous, Farke is likely to prioritize acquiring players of his choice. Therefore, if Leeds can secure a transfer fee for Kristensen and recruit another defender, it would likely benefit all parties involved.
