Despite being just 20 years old, the Ivory Coast international has emerged as a key figure in Sporting’s nearly flawless title charge, garnering attention across Europe for his remarkable progress.
The Gunners are said to be eager to finalize the deal before any potential competitors, including Chelsea, enter the fray. While Diomande’s €80m release clause may seem daunting, there is room to negotiate the final price by including various clauses and add-ons. However, O Jogo asserts that Sporting is adamant about not accepting offers significantly below the release clause.
