Jack Harrison is poised for another season-long loan at Everton from Leeds United.

The 27-year-old winger enjoyed a spell at Goodison Park last season, netting three goals and providing three assists across 29 Premier League matches.

While the deal is yet to be finalised, it is anticipated that this new loan arrangement will not involve a loan fee, with Everton set to cover Harrison’s wages. The player, eager for a return to Merseyside, remains under contract with Leeds until 2028.

Harrison’s journey with Leeds began in 2018 when he joined on loan from Manchester City. His permanent move to Elland Road came in 2021, following a series of impressive performances. He has made 190 league appearances for Leeds and was instrumental in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad that secured promotion to the Premier League in 2020.

Relegation at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season created an opportunity for Everton to activate a clause in Harrison’s contract. Subsequently, he joined Sean Dyche’s side on loan in August 2023, after being sidelined with a hip injury at the start of Leeds’ campaign in the Championship.

Harrison was one of several senior players to depart on loan following Leeds’ relegation. Others included Brenden Aaronson, Maximilian Wober, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, and Diego Llorente.

Notably, Aaronson is set to play a key role for Leeds in the upcoming season. Positive discussions with manager Daniel Farke have convinced the U.S. international to commit to staying at the club.

This development highlights a period of transition and adaptation for Leeds United as they aim to bounce back from their recent setbacks and re-establish themselves in the higher echelons of English football.
