EXCLUSIVE – Celtic star seals EXIT from Parkhead after being told to find a New Club by Brendan Rodgers – Scottish giants seals Top-class signing for 25-year old midfielder with Medicals scheduled for Today

June 26, 2024

Celtic have had a quiet transfer window thus far, but things could be ramping up with one player set for an imminent departure. Sead Haksabanovic is due back at Lennoxtown for the start of pre-season training next week after spending last season on loan at Stoke City in the EFL Championship.

However, the 25-year-old Montenegrin has no future at the Parkhead club after being told by manager Brendan Rodgers that he is not part of his first-team plans.

That looks set to pave the way for a move to Malmo this summer, with a report in Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt claiming that Haksabanovic has agreed a move to the Allsvenskan outfit.

The winger has previously played in Sweden, having come through the ranks at Halmstads BK, before spells with IFK Norrkoping and Djurgardens. Celtic will aim to at least recoup the £1m fee they paid Russian outfit Rubin Kazan to sign him in 2022.

Hearts complete sixth summer signing:

Hearts have already had a busy transfer window with the arrival of five new signings: Mussah Drammeh, James Penrice, Ryan Fulton, Blair Spittal, and Daniel Oyegoke. Now a sixth new arrival is imminent amid reports that Yan Dhanda is on the verge of completing his move to Tynecastle Park.

Football Insider claims that the 25-year-old midfielder is undergoing a medical on Wednesday ahead of completing his free transfer from Ross County following the expiry of his contract.

Hearts reached a pre-contract agreement with the former Liverpool youth player in January and, provided there are no issues with the medical, he will be confirmed as a Hearts player before the end of the week. Dhanda made 79 appearances for Ross County, contributing 12 goals and 18 assists.

This addition would further bolster the squad as Hearts prepare for the upcoming season, looking to build on their previous campaigns and challenge for higher honours. With Dhanda’s experience and playmaking abilities, he is expected to make a significant impact at Tynecastle.
