Following the news of Tiree Burchill, Sydney Cummings, and Imane Addi leaving Celtic FC Women, the club has confirmed the departure of another key player. Lisa Robertson will exit after four successful years with the Hoops.

Robertson joined Celtic in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience, having won numerous trophies with Hibs and a treble with Glasgow City. In her debut season, she played a pivotal role in securing Champions League qualification for Celtic.

She later spent time on loan at Birmingham City, where her performances earned her a place in the Scotland national squad, for which she has earned eight caps.

In the 2022/23 season, Robertson featured seven times for Celtic and made four appearances in the following campaign. Remarkably, during this period, she gave birth and swiftly returned to top-flight football, receiving high praise from the head coach for her dedication and performance.

Wherever Robertson heads next, she will undoubtedly be a valuable asset, given her talent and experience. While her departure is a significant loss for Celtic, the club and its supporters wish her the very best for the future.

Good luck, Lisa! YNWA.
