Largie Ramazani has made his return to English football, a move he’s long desired. Leeds United have brought the 23-year-old back to England, four years after his departure from Manchester United to join Almeria in Spain.

During his time with Almeria, Ramazani developed into a promising talent, and Leeds have now secured his services for a fee of around £11 million.

The Spanish media are lauding the transfer, with La Voz de Almeria describing it as ‘the perfect transfer’ for the club. Acquiring Ramazani on a free and selling him for a substantial fee represents excellent business for the Rojiblancos.

Ramazani, formerly of Manchester United, is reportedly ‘very happy’ with the move. While Almeria were keen to extend his contract, Leeds’ offer was deemed ‘magnificent’ by those close to the Almeria president.

Bruno Alemany, an international football expert with Cadena SER, also praised the transfer, telling La Voz de Almeria that Leeds is the ‘perfect destination’ for the winger.

“They have a very good youth system and [it] is an important showcase. It is a competition in which the sporting directors are very attentive and they are well paid. In fact, Leeds pay very well, so it is a good and perfect destination for Largie Ramazani.”

This transfer appears to be a win-win for all parties involved, and Leeds will hope Ramazani can make a significant impact at Elland Road.
