Former Celtic striker and Sky Sports pundit Chris Sutton was effusive in his praise for Celtic following their dominant 3-0 victory over Rangers in the Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park.
Sutton, a keen observer of the Scottish game, dissected the match with his customary insight, underscoring the various facets that contributed to Celtic’s comprehensive win.
“Celtic were brilliant for most of the game,” Sutton remarked, emphasizing the Hoops’ near-total control.
“They dominated every aspect with a level of comfort that clearly establishes them as the best team in Scotland.”
Sutton’s analysis pointed to Celtic’s superiority in all areas, a performance that left no doubt about their status as the top side in the country.
Central to Celtic’s triumph was the performance of Callum McGregor, who, according to Sutton, is “clearly back to his very best.”

“He has struggled to stop Celtic repeatedly, with only one draw to his name and no wins against Brendan Rodgers,” Sutton observed.
Clement, praised for his victories against lesser opposition last season, has yet to prove his worth in the Glasgow Derbies, where Rodgers consistently outshines him.
