BIG PROBLEM – Mikel Arteta FIRES BACK at Pep Guardiola after the Man City Manager Threaten and Promised to start WAR with the Arsenal coach following what Arteta recently said

Mikel Arteta has expressed his deep respect for Pep Guardiola after the Manchester City manager warned of potential conflict between the two clubs following Arteta’s recent comments.

The Arsenal boss had made cryptic remarks about his time working under Guardiola in City’s backroom staff, which were widely interpreted as a veiled reference to Manchester City’s legal troubles surrounding alleged breaches of financial regulations.

These comments did not sit well with Guardiola, who publicly challenged Arteta to clarify his stance, hinting at the possibility of “war” between the two sides, both chasing the Premier League title.

Following Arsenal’s 4-2 victory over Leicester City, Arteta sought to set the record straight.

“I can repeat it very clear, I love Pep, I have admired him since I was 10 years old,” Arteta said.

“I respect him profoundly, I am so grateful for everything he did for me and continues to do with me, I consider him a friend.”

Arteta was eager to emphasise his continued admiration not only for Guardiola but also for the entire Manchester City setup.

“I love and I respect every member of the staff there because I worked with them for four years, and when I say I know them, it’s I know how hard they work. I haven’t seen a human being work as hard as Pep, and the coaches and everybody in that football club to be consistently winning.”

He also highlighted the relentless work ethic that has been the foundation of City’s success under Guardiola.

“The reason they are there is because they maintain that hunger, and this is exactly what I learned and exactly what I mean. It cannot be any more clear than that.”

Arteta added that his relationship with Guardiola and Manchester City remains strong.

“If someone wants to damage a relationship that’s not in my hands. That feeling is profound, he knows it, the staff know it.”

He concluded by reiterating his admiration for City’s achievements and mentality.

“It is remarkable and it’s an incredible achievement because they have that mentality. Hopefully, that is clear.”
