JUST NOW – UCL finalist Manager says he’s now ready for Premier League move amid Julen Lopetegui Sack as Hammers eye manager that plays Good-football like Pep Guardiola

Edin Terzic appears keen on a move to the Premier League, with West Ham United reportedly among the clubs interested in securing his services, according to Sami Mokbel of The Daily Mail.

Mokbel reported on Thursday (31 October) that the former Borussia Dortmund manager is ready to step into a new role, with a strong preference for a position in England following his departure from the Bundesliga club in the summer.

Terzic’s representatives are already exploring Premier League opportunities, with West Ham said to be eyeing him as a potential successor to Julen Lopetegui, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, another club linked with Terzic after Erik ten Hag’s dismissal, have now reached an agreement with Ruben Amorim, as reported by The Athletic, leaving Terzic’s path to the London Stadium clearer.

However, this development places West Ham in a challenging position, as they would need to act quickly if they want to secure Terzic before other interested parties enter the picture.

This pressure may push the club to make an early decision on Lopetegui’s future, despite the West Ham board’s ongoing support for the Spaniard.

Lopetegui’s tenure has had a mixed start, with the Hammers currently 13th in the league table, tallying just three wins from nine games.

However, a 2-1 victory over Manchester United last weekend would have boosted Lopetegui’s confidence.

He demonstrated his readiness to make bold choices to solidify his position, notably dropping Alphonse Areola in favour of Lucas Fabianski and making a triple substitution at halftime, which included the removal of Lucas Paqueta.

While Terzic’s apparent willingness to join West Ham might be enticing, it’s worth considering the benefits of stability.

Lopetegui’s recent adjustments suggest he is determined to turn things around, and with Manchester United now securing Amorim, West Ham may find it advantageous to stay the course with Lopetegui, at least for the immediate future.

If Terzic remains open to an English move, the option could still be there for West Ham down the line. For now, allowing Lopetegui time to build on his recent successes could prove the wiser approach.
