OFFICIAL – Phoenix Suns now set RETURN DATE for Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal

The Phoenix Suns are enduring a tough stretch, having lost five consecutive games and playing without two of their three marquee stars. However, there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon.

Head coach Mike Budenholzer revealed on Friday that both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal participated in light practices and were involved in limited 3-on-3 work.

If all goes well, the Suns are optimistic that both players could return for Tuesday’s clash against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Beal, sidelined since November 12 with a calf injury, and Durant, out since November 8 with a calf strain, have been sorely missed. Durant’s original two-week recovery timeline appears to be on track, while Beal’s return will be a welcome boost.

The Suns were formidable with Durant and Beal in the lineup alongside Devin Booker, boasting an 8-1 record.

However, since Durant’s injury, they have gone 1-6, with several defeats being far from competitive.

This includes a 23-point blowout against Sacramento and back-to-back 16-point losses to Oklahoma City and New York.

With critical matchups against the Lakers and Golden State Warriors looming, the Suns will be desperate to restore their full-strength lineup and reverse their recent fortunes.
