Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly plotting a surprise move for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Rayan Ait-Nouri next year, with the Algerian international high on his transfer wishlist.
According to The Sun, United are ready to offer the left wing-back a significant pay rise as they look to strengthen their squad.
Ait-Nouri, whose Wolves contract runs until June 2026, is understood to be open to a move away from Molineux, seeking a fresh challenge.
His potential availability has sparked interest from several Premier League clubs, but United are believed to be leading the chase as they prioritise bolstering their options at left wing-back in 2025.
Amorim reportedly views Ait-Nouri as an ideal fit for the attacking wing-back role, particularly with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia continuing to struggle with injuries.
Currently earning £33,000 per week at Wolves, the Algerian could expect a substantial wage increase should he make the switch to Old Trafford.
