Celtic and Rangers fans can now mark their calendars as the dates, kick-off times, and TV coverage details for the 2024/25 Scottish Cup fourth round have been confirmed. The draw, conducted earlier this week, has set the stage for an exciting weekend of football in January.
Five matches have been selected for live broadcast, split between Premier Sports and BBC, the competition’s two main television partners.
Among the fixtures is a headline clash at Parkhead, where holders Celtic will face fellow Premiership side Kilmarnock on Saturday, January 18. Brendan Rodgers’ team, aiming for a third consecutive Scottish Cup triumph, will kick off at 5.30pm live on Premier Sports.
Rangers, meanwhile, host Highland League outfit Fraserburgh at Ibrox the following day. The match, airing live on BBC One Scotland, kicks off at 2.15pm.
The two sides last met in this competition in 2018, with Rangers securing a 3-0 win courtesy of a Josh Windass hat-trick.
The round kicks off on Friday, January 17, with Hearts visiting Highland League leaders Brechin City at Glebe Park. The game will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland at 7.45pm.
Sunday sees Falkirk face Raith Rovers in an all-Championship clash, televised on Premier Sports with a noon kick-off. The round concludes with the Dundee derby on Monday, January 20, live on Premier Sports from Dens Park at 8pm.
