Beto’s struggles at Everton continue, with the Portuguese striker left on the bench for the club’s recent Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Game time has been a significant issue for the forward, who has clocked just 180 minutes of league action this season. His solitary start came in the defeat to Manchester United, highlighting his limited role at Goodison Park.

Reports in Italy suggest a January exit may be on the cards. According to La Stampa, as relayed by Tuttomercatoweb, Beto has expressed his frustration with life at Everton and has formally requested to leave during the upcoming transfer window.

The Merseyside club are believed to have accepted his request, paving the way for a potential move.

Torino have emerged as front-runners for his signature, reportedly negotiating a deal structured as an initial loan with an option or obligation to buy, valued between €15m and €20m.

However, the Italian side faces competition from AS Roma, who see Beto as an alternative to their primary target, Artem Dovbyk.

With limited opportunities under Sean Dyche and growing interest from Serie A, it seems increasingly likely that Beto’s time in the Premier League will come to an early end.
