Leicester City appear increasingly unlikely to secure any new signings, though several players could be on their way out.

Only one player has arrived at Leicester this month, while numerous others have either been recalled from loan spells or left the club permanently.

Two notable departures include Tom Cannon, who joined Sheffield United, and Hamza Choudhury, who reunited with Cannon at the Blades after completing a loan move.

Multiple offers for Luke Thomas have also been turned down, and there remains a possibility that more senior players could exit before the window closes.

However, not everyone is eager to leave the King Power Stadium. One player who has slipped down the pecking order is now considering a move away.

Caleb Okoli keen to return to Italy amid transfer links:

After a promising start to his Leicester career, Caleb Okoli has struggled to maintain his place in the East Midlands.

Signed by Steve Cooper for £15m in the summer, the defender was a regular fixture in the first team.

However, his situation changed following Cooper’s dismissal and the appointment of Ruud van Nistelrooy, with Okoli now finding himself out of favor.

Okoli’s agent has disclosed that Serie A clubs have expressed interest, while other reports suggest a disagreement between Van Nistelrooy and Okoli over his footwear.

The 23-year-old could be the next to leave Leicester, as Parma Today reported that Okoli is “eager to return” to Italy, with Parma among the clubs linked.

Parma’s manager, Fabio Pecchia, previously worked with Okoli at Cremonese, raising the possibility of a reunion.

Leicester City must sign a centre-back this month:

Van Nistelrooy has been vocal about his intention to strengthen Leicester’s squad during this transfer window.

During discussions, Van Nistelrooy was informed he could sign three players this month, though it seems loans are the only feasible option for new arrivals.

A centre-back is a priority position, with names like Strahinja Pavlovic being linked in recent weeks.

With just a few days remaining, the Foxes are heading toward another dramatic transfer window.
