One Wolves player is thrilled to have finalized a move away from Molineux late on transfer deadline day.
With only a few hours remaining in the window, Vitor Pereira is aware of the potential new arrivals at the club.
The Wanderers have agreed fees for Red Star Belgrade centre-back Nasser Djiga and Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi.
Djiga and Munetsi are currently undergoing medicals ahead of their transfers to Wolves, with contracts set for 4.5 years and 3.5 years, respectively.
However, it’s not just incoming deals that Wolves are focused on. Once Munetsi arrives at Molineux, Mario Lemina is expected to complete his £2.5 million move to Galatasaray.
In addition to Lemina’s anticipated departure, Wolves have already confirmed one exit on deadline day.
Wolves youngster Tawanda Chirewa completes Huddersfield Town loan move
Tawanda Chirewa has secured a loan move to League One side Huddersfield Town, who are pushing for promotion from the second tier.
Chirewa, who broke into the first team last season under Gary O’Neil, spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Championship side Derby County.
Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, the move to Pride Park didn’t pan out as planned. A torn thigh muscle limited him to just six appearances during his time there.
Wolves recalled the attacking midfielder in January, seemingly to send him elsewhere, with Huddersfield now benefiting from that decision.
Following the completion of his loan move to the Terriers, Chirewa has spoken publicly for the first time.
Chirewa ‘delighted’ to complete Huddersfield loan move
The past eight months have been challenging for Chirewa, who went from featuring in the Premier League to struggling with injuries in the Championship.
A move to a third-tier club fighting for promotion could provide the Zimbabwe international with the regular first-team football he needs to continue his development.
Most importantly, the 21-year-old appears delighted to have joined Huddersfield, expressing his excitement to work under manager Michael Duff.

After a difficult spell at Derby, Chirewa will be hoping for better fortunes at Huddersfield, where he aims to showcase his talent as an attacking midfielder.
