Leicester City’s decision to recall Cannon leaves his immediate future uncertain amid heavy transfer interest. Former club Everton have also been linked with a move to bring him back, according to reports from Give Me Sport.
However, it seems unlikely that Cannon will feature for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester side while his future hangs in the balance, as doing so would render him ineligible to play for another club.
