Wolves may finally part ways with a player whose time at Molineux has been largely underwhelming.
In 2020, Wolves invested £35.6 million in the relatively unknown Fabio Silva, with fans hopeful the club had secured the next footballing wonderkid.
Given the hefty price tag, expectations were high that Silva would deliver.
However, it soon became clear that Wolves had overpaid, as Silva was far from ready to compete regularly in the Premier League.
Silva struggled to make an impact at Molineux, leading to a series of loan moves.

Silva recently gave an interview reflecting on his time at Wolves, his journey into the Portugal national team, and his future prospects.
The 22-year-old has been performing well during his loan spell at Las Palmas, netting seven goals in 18 appearances.
Reports have surfaced that Silva’s form has caught the attention of Atletico Madrid, with Diego Simeone reportedly impressed during a recent match between Atletico and Las Palmas.
In his interview, Silva addressed these transfer rumors and spoke highly of the club.
He said: “My focus is on Las Palmas and achieving the season’s goal, which is to stay in the division.
“The interest from Atletico is something I leave to my agent, Carlos Oliveira. But what can I say about Atletico? It’s one of the best clubs in the world and in this league. (Diego) Simeone is one of the best coaches in the world.”
Silva also pointed out that people often overlook his youth when discussing his struggles at Wolves and why things haven’t worked out for him.

In the interview, Silva made it clear how much of a dream it would be to play in La Liga.
Growing up, he idolized Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Real Madrid, and the Portuguese superstar has been a significant inspiration for him.
Silva didn’t need to praise Atletico and Simeone; he could have simply left the matter to his agent.
