Jamie O’Hara is widely recognized as one of Celtic’s most vocal critics, especially when it comes to their performances in the Champions League.

The talkSPORT host was analyzing Celtic’s Champions League draw against Bayern Munich when a Rangers supporter called into the show to share his thoughts on the outcome.

Considering Celtic nearly secured a historic victory against one of the world’s top football clubs in Europe’s premier competition, O’Hara wasn’t interested in entertaining anyone attempting to downplay the Hoops’ impressive display at the Allianz Arena.

Jamie O’Hara reminds Rangers that they ‘can’t be asking for favours off Celtic’ in the Champions League:

A Rangers fan called O’Hara’s show to complain about Scotland’s coefficient points, seemingly forgetting that Celtic had advanced from the Champions League group stages. O’Hara quickly set the record straight.

O’Hara stated on talkSPORT, “The last thing they’re thinking about matey is coefficient points. They’re benefiting from it now because they’ve won the league and you haven’t.

“You can’t win the league. So you don’t play in the Champions League. You can’t qualify for it. Celtic have.

“You can’t be asking for favours off Celtic.”

The number of coefficient points Celtic have earned this season compared to Rangers
It’s hard not to notice Rangers fans pushing this narrative, especially given the current state of their club. However, the conversation did spark some curiosity.

Just how many coefficient points have Celtic accumulated in the Champions League compared to Rangers in the Europa League?

Scotland’s Coefficient on X shared the statistics, and it appears that the Parkhead club is leading the way.

Celtic have secured 3.4 points, while Rangers have managed 3.15. Although the Ibrox club has earned nearly six points more over the past five years, it’s important to note that many of those points were achieved in UEFA’s secondary competition, with no points coming from the Champions League at all.
