Everton make big decision on Jack Harrison and it affects Leeds United:
Jack Harrison left Leeds to join Everton on loan in the summer of 2023, following Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League the previous season.
The loan deal was extended last summer, but the winger has struggled for consistency this term, failing to score a goal or provide an assist so far.
Everton’s form has improved since David Moyes returned as manager, and the club is now evaluating several players ahead of the summer transfer window.
While Everton have an option to sign Harrison permanently, Football Insider reports that the Toffees will not be exercising that option.
As a result, Harrison is set to return to Leeds once his loan spell concludes at the end of the season, with Everton expected to pursue other wingers in the summer.
Harrison has not done enough to convince Moyes or the Everton hierarchy that he is worth retaining on a permanent basis. Despite starting the last three Premier League games, he is not viewed as a long-term solution by the Everton manager, who is seeking different options for next season.
