Leicester City are not currently considering a managerial change despite mounting pressure on current boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, sources have informed Football Insider.
The 48-year-old took over from Steve Cooper in December but has faced challenges in steering the team away from the relegation zone, with performances declining in recent weeks.
Cooper was dismissed in late November with Leicester sitting 16th in the table, but under Van Nistelrooy, the team has slipped to 19th and is now five points adrift of safety.
The Dutch manager expressed frustration over limited activity in the January transfer window, as Leicester secured only one new signing – Woyo Coulibaly – despite needing more extensive reinforcements.

Van Nistelrooy’s side now face a daunting run of fixtures against Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City as the 2024-25 season approaches its conclusion.
It is understood that Leicester are not planning a hasty reaction to poor results but could reconsider their managerial position if the team falls further behind in the relegation battle.
