Gueye returned to the Merseyside club in 2022 and has since become a key figure in Everton’s starting lineup. His performances over the past two seasons have convinced the Premier League side to offer him an extension.
Gueye’s contract situation had attracted interest from several clubs in Saudi Arabia, though specific details about these suitors were not disclosed. However, it appears this interest will be irrelevant, as he is set to sign a new deal that will keep him at Everton until 2026.
